Q. What size unit do I need?

A. Traditional wisdom holds that homes require approximately one ton per 600 square feet and businesses require approximately one ton per 450 square feet. However, numerous factors influence heat loads (ceiling heights, glass, shade/direct sunlight, insulation, construction methods, etc.); the only safe determination is a heat load analysis by a trained professional.

Q. Do you service other brands?

A. Yes. Our staff is fully trained to provide service and diagnostics on all brands and types of HVAC equipment.

Q. When should I change my air filter?

A. Typical use will require monthly filter changes. A good reminder is to change your filter each time you pay your electric bill.

Q. Do I need to recharge/replace my Freon?

A. Contrary to popular belief, refrigerant is permanent and does not degenerate or lose effectiveness over time. Therefore, the only reason to recharge a system is due to a leak or other corruption of the system.
